Fulgencio Batista, (Cuban President from 1953-59) was the Gaddafi of his day, creating a dangerous example of economic independence from the bankers.
The "revolutionary" Fidel Castro was nothing more than

If Castro was indeed CIA, we will look at modern history in a new light. The Bay of Pigs invasion, for example, was meant to fail, in order to discredit JFK and make Castro look good. A real US invasion of Cuba would have been justified. Now I understand why it didn't happen.

Following the collapse in the Cuban economy in the 1930's, Batista crushed
Marxist agitators, and established a constitution in 1940 based on the
sovereignty of the Cuban people.
Cuba's new constitution was therefore contrary to Teddy Roosevelt's intrusive Platt Amendment of 1901, which attempts to ensconce an army of Zionist know-it-alls and Marine smarty-pants in "Gitmo," with the authority "to take any action necessary to protect Wall Street-Zionist interests in the Caribbean." researchers propose that Castro was involved in the 1948 assassination of
a popular Columbian politician, Jorge Eliécer Gaitán (1903 - 1948). It is widely
speculated that Gaitán would likely have been elected President had he not been
assassinated on April 9, 1948. Castro had attempted to recruit Gaitán earlier
to his cause, but Gaitán had repeatedly declined and was assassinated because
he was too politically influential and would have countered the Cold War
objectives of the USSR in the Caribbean.
Gaitán was a Bogatá attorney who gained national popularity by successfully defending striking workers at the United Fruit Company. UFC was represented by Sullivan & Cromwell, a N.Y. City law firm of which John Foster Dulles was partner. (Dulles was also Sec. of State; his brother Allen was Director of the CIA; and John Moors Cabot, past president of UFC, was Asst. Sec. of State for Inter-American Affairs.) In his speeches, Gaitán distinguished between the "political country," which was controlled by an oligarchy through use of fictitious internal struggles, orchestrated between "Liberal" and "Conservative" factions, and the "national country," which responds to the real political and economic needs of a nation of people.

I did this research 20 and 30 years ago, so memory fails. It was before Wikipedia became a Mossad operation. A google search on Batista and smear job does however produce a book by a Humberto Fontova, titled "Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant." Admittedly, the history of Caribbean piracy has been one of history's more complex hairballs ... shrouded in secrecy, starting with Geo. Washington's pre-revolutionary "holiday" in the Caribbean, as special guest of the future Wall St banker, the pirate Henry Morgan. It was on this trip that Geo. was introduced to the young boy Alexander Hamilton, perhaps as a catamyte, or travel companion. For Cuba in the 1940s and 50s, we jump ahead to Ramon Grau (pres. 1944-48) and Carlos Socarras (pres. 1948-52). Both had a few too many Rockefeller-Citibank and Bush-Texas mafia connections to pass my sniff test. Under Grau and Socarras, the NY bankers and their "mafias" were given free reign, and Havana developed into a degenerate hangout. Batista came forward to put an end to it.
The awakening came for me when I encountered, quite by accident, the above mentioned CIA training manual. (I take it that in their training programs, the CIA knows that their field agents need to know both the usual fictional history, fed to us by the mainstream media, and the real history, as known to insiders by the family names and connections, and by tensions and competitions between families and friends, of banker appointed leaders.) From page 27, we read in a CIA training manual, about Batista and the banks ...

Only during times of economic crises did it adopt remedial measures, which provided the motive but not the means for change. Attracted by greater and faster returns, private investors, both domestic and foreign, plowed their capital into sugar production [on their sugar plantations] and showed little or no interest in promoting and developing non-sugar export industries and home- market consumer goods for the home market.
"In an effort to expand Cuba's economic base the [Batista] government took on greater economic responsibility in the 1950s and established a number of credit institutions and a grand scale development plan.The National Bank, legally authorized in 1948, became fully operative in mid-1950. The Agricultural and Industrial Development Bank was established in 1950 to promote rural credit and industrial development. Many new autonomous government credit institutions flourished during the period up to 1959 [which is when Castro replaced Batista]. Batista's new Economic and Social Development Plan which included tax incentives and easier credit was put into effect in 1954 to reduce unemployment and increase production. This ambitious plan called for the expenditure of 350 million Cuban pesos (1 peso=1 dollar) over a 4-year period."
Batista was taking control away from the bankers. He wanted parity between the Cuban peso and the US dollar. He was using his Agricultural and Industrial Development Bank for "rural development." I'm not so sure that the mafia volunteers, or the CIA, told us the truth about Mr. Batista.
Batista's political enemies were Grau and Socarras, both of whom we now find out were "best friend" of the mafia. It's only logical the mafia suddenly volunteer themselves, to claim that Batista was their best friend. The smear job was on! It was also a means of creating a distraction around Castro, who like Grau and Socarras, Citibank and the CIA also kept on the payroll.
On the still unsolved assassination of Gaitán, there are some parallels between the assassination of JFK and the political trauma that it caused in the US, and the assassination of Gaitán and political trauma that it caused in Columbia, and South America. Basically, with their assassinations the bankers and the drug dealers rolled in and took over "da joints."
