UPDATE!
SUGAR,
THE THREE-LEGGED STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER, WEST HAMPSTEAD FARMERS' MARKET,
LONDON.
Weeks ago I posted that Sugar had
been confiscated from her owners by the Kentish Town, London Police. Her
'mummy' had been attacked by thugs and Sugar
had barked aggressively at them (as she naturally would!). The thugs then
reported Sugar to the police at Kentish Town Police Station, London. Even
though the woman was injured and bruised with the photos to prove it, the
police immediately took the dog away - in spite of the fact that the thugs gave
completely false details to the police and could not be traced afterwards!
Weeks passed and the owners were literally being teased by the police, who
would not confirm whether Sugar was still alive or had been put down, where she
was, they even informed the owners that Sugar was no longer their property and
now belonged to the police and they would decide what was going to happen to
her!
The owners started a petition to get her back - even actress Emma Thompson signed it! http://emma-thompson.org/

As a big fan of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, a
letter was composed under this Act. It asked a number of questions of these
police officers - their names and numbers, the law under which Sugar was
confiscated, where she was being kept, her condition, etc.
The owners subsequently handed this letter in at Kentish Town Nick and -
GUESS WHAT?
She was returned to them 3 days later!
RESULT!
