The EU, Don’t Get Conned Again! The Who?

Lord Rose, leader for the ‘yes’ campaign in the referendum, has declared, as an opening salvo,  that Britain will be far stronger, have more influence in the world and be far safer if it stays inside the EU.  Let us examine this statement for what it is worth:-

STRONGER – which is stronger :-

(A)  being just one of 28 states of of the EU, 27 of which touch their forelocks and are subservient to Germany.  We would be an EU state with no law of our own, no trade  deals of our own, no border controls of our own with an economy governed by Brussels.

or

(B) As one of the biggest trading nations in the world, controlling our own law,negotiating our own trade deals, controlling our own borders and an economy governed by London?

MORE INFLUENCE IN THE WORLD –  would we have more influence as:-

(A)  Just one state of the EU’s 28 states – all,ostensibly of equal standing and with no control at all over our own country.?

or

(B)- A long standing, powerful, independent nation with it’s own government completely running it’s own affairs?

SAFER INSIDE THE EU.  This is so laughable as to not even bother to draw any comparison. While one abides by all the EU rules (many of which are not in your interest) and pay off all your debts then, maybe, just maybe, you might be safer But if you fail to meet all of EU’s demands, then woe betide you. We have had a recent example of how the EU can hound a country not meeting EU requirements – GREECE IS A PRIME EXAMPLE.

 

Over 40 years ago, Britain was conned by both Heath and Wilson who both used their powers to suppress the truth and promote an entirely false image of the EU (then the common market).  Thus, for over 40 years we have been living the ‘big con’, firmly shackled to a corrupt system and given no freedom to leave.  At long, long last the British people will have the opportunity to break free, to regain control of our country and it’s borders and to rebuild a future for ourselves and our children. My message to the people of Britain is that you have been conned before by lies and false promises – don’t be conned again.
