Safe Spaces, a new title for the Chatham House Rule?

Regarding an item in M.E.P. Roger Helmer's latest electronic newsletter,

“Ethnic Minorities deserve safe spaces without white people”.

'A headline in Huffington Post reads “Ethnic Minorities deserve safe spaces without white people”.  Imagine the screams of outrage if you swapped “ethnic minorities” for “white people” in that headline.  Whatever happened to equality under the law?  Who will be put in charge of deciding whether mixed race individuals are white enough to be white, or ethnic enough to be ethnic?  And I thought we’d got rid of Apartheid! Safe Spaces, and the White Privilege movement/meme deserve a chapter in “The Marketing of Evil”, IMHO, read on...

“Earlier in the week a newsroom colleague and I went to an ad-hoc committee meeting on sexual assault policy. When we arrived we were told it was a safe space, and that we would not be able to report on anything that would be discussed in the meeting.

We understood the value of these sorts of events, where people can share their common struggles. Our understanding let us attend and contribute to the conversation, even if we couldn't report about it.”  (sounds exactly like a trendy new title for, or way of (mis)using, the Chatham House Rule, doesn't it?)

Are you aware of the White Privilege Movement in America?

It is an ugly development, I suggest you look it up if you have not come across it before. It all ties in with this.

Also sounds to me as though 'they' (Common Purpose or the USA equivalent) have thought this through very cleverly indeed and are using NLP to alter ethnic people's perception.
By calling them 'safe' spaces it implies that safe spaces are needed because of some kind of inherent danger ethnics need to be protected from - the raging hoard of scary white students all around them? Or what? 
It is highly insulting, actually. What exactly is the danger that blacks/minorities would face if any young 'white' student was to turn up to their meetings?
It is ridiculous because it is just students meeting in a university to discuss stuff, not a boxing match or a knife fight - where is the danger that they need to be kept safe from? As if white people are lions or rampaging bulls, or something similar!

Or is it actually the danger that they are going to discuss matters in a hateful, racist fashion and do not want to be caught out?
A black mole needs to record these meetings and expose what's going on...

Regarding the White Privilege movement in America?
It's all about primarily white Jews slagging off the Founding Fathers of America and their Christianity - they really hate this and want the individual God-given rights in the constitution chucked out:
